A commercial battery stores the solar your roof makes during the day and puts it to work when your business needs it most: after hours, through peak tariff periods, or when the grid drops out. We design, install and support every system ourselves, for businesses from the Northern Rivers to the southern Gold Coast.
What a battery can do for your business
- Use more of your own solar. Store daytime generation instead of exporting it for a low feed-in tariff, then use it in the evening or overnight.
- Manage peak tariffs. Draw on the battery during peak periods, so you buy less power when it costs the most.
- Keep critical systems running. With backup designed in, nominated circuits such as cool rooms, refrigeration, computers and lighting can stay on during an outage.
- Grow with your business. Modular battery stacks can be added to later as your power use grows.
Batteries we install
We install Sungrow and FoxESS commercial battery systems, including Sungrow PowerKeeper, and pair each one with the right hybrid inverter for your site. We’ll recommend what suits how your business uses power, and tell you honestly if a battery doesn’t stack up yet.
Recent commercial battery work
- Wholesale foods business. A family-run business with a cool room running around the clock. We added a 110kW Sungrow hybrid inverter and 50kWh of battery stacks to its existing 100kW solar system, with room to add more storage later. Ben walks through the job in the video above.

- Off-grid workshop, Broken Head. A new shed powered entirely by a ProSolar off-grid system: solar, batteries and a backup generator.
How we work
- On-site consultation. We look at your switchboard, your roof and your power bills, and talk through how and when your business uses power.
- Design and quote. We size the battery and inverter to your load, your tariff and any backup you need, then give you a clear written quote.
- Installation. Our own A-grade electricians do the install. No subcontractors. NSW jobs get a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW), and QLD jobs a certificate of testing and compliance, on completion.
- Support. Where your system supports it, we set up monitoring so you can see generation, usage and battery charge in the app. Every solar and battery system comes with our 10-year workmanship warranty, and we’re a phone call away after the job.
Rebates and incentives
The federal battery discount also covers businesses, and NSW businesses can now add the state’s Batteries for businesses incentive (from 1 September 2026). Eligibility depends on your system and site, so we’ll check what applies before we quote. More detail is on our battery rebates page.
